About the Institute
The Army International Islamic Institute (commonly known as AIII or “A Triple I”) is a newly initiated educational institution conceptualized and founded under the direction of the Bangladesh Army.
The idea behind AIII stems from the Army’s long-standing involvement in education and its vision to further strengthen moral and academic values in the national education landscape.
Official Inception
The formal establishment began on 20 January 2026, when the Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army, General Waker-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, laid the foundation stone at the Jolshiri Abashon Project area, Dhaka.
AIII is planned to commence its academic activities from July 2026 in the Jolshiri campus. Initially, the focus will be on building a foundational structure of balanced curriculum, discipline, and ethical education, expanding over time.
Core Purpose
To create an institution where modern academic excellence is fused with Islamic morals and ethical training, preparing students to be disciplined, knowledgeable, and ethical leaders of the future.
Expansion & Strategy
